Travelling by train? Park right near the station and be on your train in no time

Did you know if there are no spaces left to pre-book you can still just turn up on the day and park. We have plenty of spaces available for parking that you don't need to pre-book.

Hourly parking rates

No need to pay for the whole day if you're only parking for a couple of hours. You can now pay by the hour at some of our car parks. More details in the FAQs below.

Priority Parking

When you're travelling with us, the First Class treatment doesn’t just apply to your time on the train. Get Priority Parking at selected stations across our network, so you’ll always have peace of mind when you’re tight on time.

Pre-book your parking

If you're planning ahead, you can pre-book your station parking using the link below.


However, if there are no pre-book parking spaces left then you can still turn up on the day and park in any available parking space.

Priority Parking (subject to availability)

If you have a First Class Season Ticket, you get special treatment even before you board your train. You can enjoy Priority Parking at selected stations, so you'll have peace of mind when you're tight on time.

To get your Priority Parking sticker visit the Ticket Office at the station and present your First Class Season Ticket. Present your sticker in your window, pay for parking as you normally would and park in any Priority Parking bay.

Reserved Priority Parking bays can currently be found at the following stations:

  • Birmingham International - 12 spaces
  • Carlisle - 5 spaces
  • Crewe - 8 spaces
  • Lancaster - 5 spaces
  • Macclesfield - 1 space
  • Rugby - 5 spaces
  • Runcorn - 5 spaces
  • Stafford - 10 spaces
  • Stoke-on-Trent - 4 spaces
  • Warrington Bank Quay - 4 spaces
