About Bramall Hall
Bramall Hall is a historic Tudor Manor, set within 70 acres of scenic parkland. The house’s origins date back to the Middle Ages, making it an interesting visit for history lovers. The Hall is filled with unique charming features. For example, 16th-century paintings, Elizabethan plaster ceilings, Victorian kitchens, and servant’s quarters.
The Hall’s exciting history can be delved into for centuries. Bramall was actually held as two manors before 1066 until it was given to Hamon de Masci by William the Conqueror in around 1070. For the next 800 years, only 3 families owned the estate.
Bramall Hall opening times vary. The Hall is closed on Mondays and Saturdays and opens from 11 am to 4.30 pm every other day. The last admission is at 3.45 pm, so be sure to get there before then.
The site is supported by The Friends of Bramall Hall and Park, who volunteer their time and expertise. Thanks to the group, restoration projects on rooms such as the small dining room have been completed.
