How to get to Brickfields Pond

If you decide to arrive at Brickfields Pond by bus, look out for service 38A. This bus will drop you off right outside the pond, at the car park entrance.

About Brickfields Pond

Brickfields Pond, Rhyl was originally nothing but a clay pit until it was later filled in to become the pond that we know and love today. Now, it is a nature reserve where a range of recreational activities take place.

The nature reserve spans almost 9 acres and has depths of up to 20 ft, making it a great fishing spot. Species of fish that reside here include carp, bream, pike, tench, eels, roach, perch, rudd and ruffe.

To get stuck in with fishing at the pond, you will need to book tickets in advance with Brickfield Angling Club, who control fishing in these waters.
