About Flatpack Festival
Flatpack Birmingham has been running since 2006 and continues to grow. It’s an important fixture in the city’s calendar.
The first Flatpack Festival evolved from a monthly mixed-media night at The Rainbow in Digbeth, 7-Inch Cinema. These popular events inspired the festival and it’s since gone from strength to strength.
One of its biggest aims is to make the Midlands the place to be, sharing exciting works and showcasing the best local talent. Flatpack puts the Midlands on the map when it comes to remarkable filmmaking.
The festival consists of playful and surprising screenings, performances, walks and installations. This year, Flatpack Film Festival will take place from the 9th May to the 17th May 2025. That means there’s plenty of time to get involved with the action.
Though the festival is one of Flatpack’s biggest events, you’ll find the organisation popping up elsewhere throughout the year. From family activities to outdoor screenings, they cover it all.
