How to get to RHS Bridgewater by train?
Travelling to RHS Bridgewater by train is simple with Avanti West Coast trains running direct from London Euston to Manchester Piccadilly.
Once you're off the Avanti West Coast train you can hop onto the direct shuttle bus which takes just over 45 minutes and runs from 1 April to 1 October. The Bridgewater express shuttle bus runs seven days a week, from Manchester Piccadilly, Salford Crescent and Walkden stations to the garden. Adult ticket prices start from £2 single.

- Monday – Saturday, departs Manchester Piccadilly at 09:35 & 11:35 (Returns from RHS Bridgewater at 14:35 & 16:45).
- Sunday, departs Manchester Piccadilly at 09:20 & 11:20 (Returns from RHS Bridgewater at 14:20 & 16:20).
- Off-season (from 2 October to 31 March), you can change at Manchester Piccadilly onto a Northern service to Salford Crescent, changing there for Walkden (2 mile walk to the Garden).

The newest addition to the RHS Garden collection, RHS Bridgewater is 154 acres of glorious gardens set in Salford's historical landscape. Once you arrive, your first stop is the Worsley Welcome Garden which provides contemporary architectural topiary and lush seasonal planting. And from there, it's up to you which path you take to explore the garden.
There is a walled Paradise Garden with its awe-inspiring blend of Mediterranean and Asiatic planting; the Weston Walled Garden, one of the largest Victorian walled gardens in the UK – an impressive sight to behold. Or, discover the abundant crops growing in the Kitchen Garden, relax and indulge your senses in the Community Wellbeing Garden.
