-
Green Market, where you’ll find small, specialist produce traders
-
Borough Market Kitchen, where you’ll find street food providers
Several shops, bars, and restaurants also surround the market.

Celia Brooks’ Borough Market tour
While you can explore the market at your own pace, you may prefer to join TV chef Celia Brooks for a tour. Cecilia kicks off her market walking tours with a meet and greet (drinks and nibbles included).
From here, she takes guests around the stalls, sharing the fascinating history of the market. During the tour, she introduces the traders and explains how they make their produce.
Cecilia’s tours run on selected Fridays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Pre-booking is essential.
Annual Evening of Cheese event
Many gather at Borough Market every year for a festive Evening of Cheese.
Led by the market’s cheesemonger community, this cheese-tasting extravaganza always proves popular. Attendees sample cheeses from across Europe and enjoy drinks from the market’s beverage traders.
Market Explorers booklets for children
Borough Market has also created a series of Market Explorers booklets. These booklets show children how traders create or harvest their market produce.
The booklets trace the produce from field to fork and show children how to prepare food with family at home.
Access for those who have disabilities
The market is all on one ground-floor level, so those with disabilities won’t need to use lifts or stairs. There are also four accessible WCs in different locations across the market.
