Feast your eyes on the fantastic new range of quality food and drink available when you travel First Class with us

On Friday 26 and Saturday 27 July we will not be able to offer the usual food and drink service onboard our trains due to strike action by the RMT affecting our catering teams. Our stations have plenty of refreshments to choose from before your journey, and First Class customers can enjoy drinks and snacks at our First Class Lounges.

When you travel First Class on an Avanti West Coast train, we’ll serve up a delicious choice of complimentary food and drink depending on the time of day and duration of your journey.*

Whilst onboard, food and drink will be served to you at your table by a dedicated member of our team*. You’ll also get access to our First Class Lounges where you can find a range of snacks and refreshments to enjoy before you travel.

*All items on our menu are subject to availability. If you’re making a short trip with us, we may not have the full menu available, but you will have time for a drink. On some Voyager services, or if something’s gone wrong, we may offer you complimentary refreshments from our onboard shop rather than at your seat.

Allergen information

We are delighted to be serving our new onboard menu, full of flavoursome products sourced from across our route and beyond. Like many organisations, there are currently some challenges within our supply chain. We’re working closely with all our suppliers to make sure these are kept to a minimum and, where possible, ensuring there is no impact to our offering.

All items on our menu are subject to availability and it may be necessary to use alternative products where required. Please speak with your dedicated onboard host before ordering if you have an allergy, intolerance or dietary requirements, even if you have enjoyed the same product previously. Menu details such as ingredients, nutritional values and dietary or allergy advice may change if we need to use alternative products. So, please ask for the most up to date information during your service.
