Travelling to Northampton?
The main pedestrian entrance to Northampton Station is on Black Lion Hill, opposite the University of
Northampton Innovation Centre. It’s west of the main shopping area, so if you’re on foot, walk from the centre along
Gold Street and Mare Fair and you can’t miss it.
There’s a large two-storey car park around the rear, which you access via St Andrew’s Road. A taxi rank and
plenty of bus services are also in the area.
While you’re in Northampton, you can visit the museum and art gallery. Plus, as a traditional market town,
you can expect a whole range of shops and dining opportunities.
If you want to venture outside the town, you can visit Coton Manor Gardens, Pitsford Reservoir, or Althorp.
Althorp is a stately home with a magnificent art collection and serves as Princess Diana’s resting place.
